How to remove audio from a video
This tool strips the audio track from any video file and hands you back a silent copy, entirely in your browser. No account is needed, no file is uploaded to a server, and no watermark is added. Because the video stream is copied rather than re-encoded, the picture quality is untouched and the result is ready in seconds.

Does removing the audio reduce the video quality?
No. The video stream is copied exactly as-is without being re-encoded, so the resolution, framerate, bitrate and visual quality are identical to the original. Only the audio track is dropped. Because nothing is re-compressed, the process is also nearly instant, even for large files.
What video formats are supported?
The tool supports the five most common video formats: MP4, MOV (Apple QuickTime), AVI, WEBM, and MKV (Matroska). The muted video is saved in the same format you started with, so an MP4 stays an MP4 and a WebM stays a WebM.
